@gnasher729 That's a nice, pithy axiom, but it's also not true. There are many, many Americans who travel and couldn't be identified as American unless you ask them. They're not all oblivious about how the world works. If you specifically mean "white, conservative Americans from the Midwest", then in general I would agree.
