hi

What's going on @JackRod?

can u help me in differential operator

I highly doubt that.

please
I am struggling with it from quite few hours

You'd have to wait a few years, before I learn about that topic.

I see, you have already asked in the main chatroom:

hi everyone I had a small question on differential operators
Let's hope that somebody responds there.

10:22 AM
@MartinSleziak ok in general this room is for real analysis?

@JackRod Which room do you mean by "this room"?
Chatrooms have descriptions. (Although some fo them might be vague.)

room based on your name?

The room we are in is for various stuff when somebody needs to communicate with me. Or when I want to make a note about something or need to communicate with someone else.

let say $\frac{d^2y}{dx^2}-3\frac{dy}{dx}+2y=0$
in Mathematics, 49 mins ago, by Jack Rod
now the book converts this equation into a linear differential equation, using the differential operator, now my book convert this equation into linear differential equation
I am not sure whether I follow.
Did you perhaps mean to say that it is converted to system of two differential equations?

sorry I typed two sentences which are same
@MartinSleziak yes

I am not sure whether this is what you're trying to do, but $$y''-3y+2y=0$$ is the same as \begin{align*} y'&=z \\ z'-3y'&=-2y \end{align*}

10:29 AM
no

In any case, let's hope that somebody who knows more about ODEs will notice your quesiton.
See you later - and have a nice day!

ok @MartinSleziak thanks buddy.

For the benefit of others who are visiting room (or reading the transcript), I'll add that the above question about ODEs is now posted on the main site: Question related to differential operator.

2 hours later…
12:37 PM
@MartinSleziak have u done a bit of numerical analysis
