@AlexandreVaillancourt Why bot? They should simply make it so when you link an image via URL it puts it on imgur instead of just taking the link. Might even want to make it not possible to link to any image not on imgur.
@nwp I guess it's because of copyright issues if they were just copying it over... The bot would just notify users who care that a potential link rot has been introduced!
I did some card boxes for a table top game that way. Started with a vector layout of the box, imported some images with game icons & then added some vector graphics over the top.
It also takes some getting used to, but I found I was able to get something done without having to learn a whole paradigm - in my opinion, that's basically what Gimp does - asks you to submit to their unique workflow.
Well, it's still free internet advice & might not address your situation. If you spend more than 30 minutes fighting with Inkscape, feel free to come back & tell me it didn't work :)
@TheMaskedRebel to the outside world ? Well than you need a dedicated server.. i guess you are running your sfs instance on your local machine, right ?
jelastic.com here you go ^^ but it costs money... jelastic allows you to setup a dedicated sfs instance... for development you could still use the local instance... but you are the only one who can acess this one
Hello everyone. Quick question; would you say it's more important to have lots of diverse projects (some finished some not) or more important to have fewer but complete projects in ones "portfolio"? I was going to make a public Git with all of my (decent) projects to use a portfolio but many of my projects are unfinished projects that mostly show of one cool feature that I thought of and I thought maybe this would reflect badly on me?
@AlexandreVaillancourt I thought everyone was forced into CC BY SA so anyone can copy any content of any stackexchange site (honoring the BY SA part) and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
Hmm, I can see how "All content posted on SE is under CC BY SA" covers the link, but not what it links to, because that technically hasn't been posted. Makes sense.
