Q: Why doesn’t Captain Marvel use the Infinity Gauntlet?

Hob GoblinI think many people have missed the real question: why didn’t Captain Marvel use the Infinity Gauntlet to simply kill Thanos? Activate the power stone and augment it with her cosmic power and she had a tremendous chance of killing Thanos.

@NapoleonWilson As far as I know, SF&F welcome ID questions. If they're "crap", they are closed or edited. All of the SF&F users that I still talk to are fine with them

2:40 PM
@steelersquirrel Except for the guy on meta, but I guess he doesn't hang out in Slack. ;-)

@NapoleonWilson Slack is awesome!! You can swear and everything! Also, you don't have to worry about offending anyone and getting banned. Freedom of speech for adults. Who would've thought? ;)
I'll have Himarm invite this guy to slack and then everyone can tell him how they really feel. lol

I figure. I heard you can do on Twitter now, too. Or Trump's cool new platform. ;-)
@steelersquirrel He'll sure appreciate that kind of freedom. ;-)

Well, we do live in a free country where there is free speech...
@NapoleonWilson LOL

Indeed. Until someone gets pissed over something someone else said and everyone ends up feeling insulted.

@NapoleonWilson That's exactly what is cool about slack. If someone is offended or insulted, they just leave

2:46 PM
Yup, that's how society works.

I almost asked a question on the site yesterday, but I completely forgot how to ask or answer a question, so I just continued living my life. lol

Asking the question would have stopped your life?

@NapoleonWilson No. No, it's not. The internet blows up and turns everyone against anyone who offends anyone. Something, something woke
@NapoleonWilson Yep. Totally. lol

@steelersquirrel Well, the internet is terrible, yes.

Kinda like newer movies. They just aren't the same. Everyone is so worried about offending people that we are losing comedy in movies. It's sad :'(

2:48 PM
But if the only two alternatives are either Twitter-wokeism or people berating eachother and yelling away everyone who is insulted, we're really kind of doomed.

Since Covid, MeToo, BLM, we are doomed anyways

I don't want to choose between Pepe-the-frog Reddit channels and Twitter. I'd rather people would just be normal. ;-)

@NapoleonWilson Exactly!!!
Me too :)

@steelersquirrel #MeToo?

What happened to normal people? Where did they all go? lol
@NapoleonWilson Hehehehehe!!!!
Nice!!!
I watched Lethal Weapon and Die Hard over the weekend
I want the 80's back

2:52 PM
Saweeet!

Best Christmas movies EVER!!!

'nneed!

I forget how incredibly handsome Mel Gibson used to be
Oh!!!
I saw a great pic of your girlfriend's boobs!
She actually has pretty nice boobs

Who are you even talking about?

Eva Green

2:54 PM
Oh, yeah, I think there's a few films where she's naked.

I had no idea
Nobody can beat Uma Thurman's boobs, but Eva has pretty okay boobs

Can we talk about boobs in here? I'm too used to chatting on slack. lol
@NapoleonWilson I gotta get to work. It was good to talk to you :)

Well, if you want to hold endless monologues of other people's breasts. But also, I'm a guy, I don't want to sit here rambling about actresses' boobs on end. And I'm at work, it's not like I can actually compare them right now. ;-)

Q: Why did Phil shoot Howard at the end of “Uncut Gems?”

Giacomo1968Just watched Uncut Gems (2019) for the first time and was thrown for a loop about the ending. The whole film is about Howard Ratner (Adam Sandler) seemingly endlessly gambling in his life: With money, relationships and pretty much anything/everything. Throughout the film he endlessly loses. But a...

Q: Wednesday Addams' shoes

computercarguyIn the new Netflix series, "Wednesday", about Wednesday Addams, what's up with her shoes? I don't normally notice shoes*, but what's with all the super thick soles? Almost all of them seem to be +2" thick. Is that something the director wanted to help keep the relatively short actress in frame be...
