I think that they are just gun shy because of what happened to Mos and I know that there are a few chat rooms that are gaining a reputation like that, but I don't know for sure.

Correct. It shouldn't be. It's a fun place to socialize with fellow SE users...that's it. I don't know why it has to be such a big deal, but I can understand their concerns if they don't want another headache like mos. I didn't agree at ALL with the way that SE handled that situation or the way several mods/administrator(s) acted afterwards (I'm not talking about SFF mods)...but, I'm just a squirrel, my opinion doesn't matter ;)
