@AJ If nothing else, you should really watch Avengers Assemble. It's one of the most brilliant blockbuster experiences I've ever had, mostly thanks to how well-written it is. Whedon's understanding of story structure, comedy and genre tropes (and how to subvert them) are second to none.

@DrRDizzle that is the issue, we have not even seen Batmna fully yet and they are throwing suicide squad, suicide squad 2, gotham city sirens, nightwing, deadshot and now batgirl on to our faces

I mean let those character grow as supporting character first before showing there solo adventures

And for me understanding Nightwing is way better if we can see him as robin first, same for batgirl, show her fun time first then oracle and then struggle to return into crime fighting.

@AnkitSharma But she was Batgirl before she was Oracle. I'd be surprised if Whedon was interested in tackling aspects of "The Killing Joke", even in flashback form.

Besides, we all knew that this was going to turn into the Batman Extended Universe sooner or later anyway. Warner Bros have no idea how to handle any of these characters other than Batman, who is also the most reliable at the box office.
