I strongly agree, but there could be a much longer list of "please don't do that" points, for example (1) posting links to data on other sites and (2) assuming that you, the reader, use the software I, the poster, use.

A common or garden standard for presentation of data as text suitable for copy and paste with one line of headers and variables in separate columns might be a way forward.
