@Glen_b, it wasn't Gelman & it wasn't King, but it wasn't an unknown either. It was someone like Allison, I think, but I don't think it was actually Allison.

Yeah, I don't know. Someone with considerably more knowledge of the literature than me would be needed (you know more of it than me already so I'm not going to be much use)

I am curious if the stats community has any thoughts on sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/… I am trying to steer someone away from an ANOVA on percent correct data.

@StrongBad That's standard stuff among statisticians--I don't think you'll get any controversy. BTW, one mistake in the abstract is amusing: the "American Statistical Society" lasted less than one year after its founding almost two centuries ago, renaming itself the "American Statistical Association." I think they didn't like the acronym :-).
