I have a hardware question. I have a machine into which I'm going to put a 1TB NVMe drive (for database testing). However, I'd like to keep the disk which is currently there and maybe boot into it from time to time. So, can anyone recommend a good bay/enclosure (USB 3 port) that would allow this? TIA!
I also have another hardware (of sorts) recommendation. I'm going to be doing some "surgery" on my laptops over the next while -so can anybody recommend a good laptop repair/service kit that has all of the bells and whistles that one might need when poking around the inside of a laptop and/or PC (home or server). The more the better in this case, but please don't hesitate to recommend any product you found useful. TIAA - Thanks in advance, again!
First world problem of the day: I'm running two gigs through citrix sessions now, and my ultra-wide monitor isn't really big enough to keep an eye on both. I've still got my old 2.5k monitor, but I'm not sure I can fit it on the desk.
So, now I have a 2.5k monotor and an ultrawide hooked up to the computer. I fitted it to the desk by pushing the printer behind the edge of the UW. My desktop is now 6,400 pixels wide but at least I can fit two citrix sessions on it now.
First and last! time I opened a laptop and reassembled it, there were 5-6 screws left over. And a screen that was bit loose ... I didn't try it again ;)
