But in the middle of a crisis - when things get tough, people are going to remember both who was around, fighting the fires, keeping folks calm, and hopefully safe and who wasn't. I guess I picked it up from both the mods and CMs who were around when I was an SE newbie (and certainly from the smaller communities) that knowing someone's around, and listening and looking at a problem is the single most valuable thing a mod can do.

Fun meeting with the "architects" yesterday regarding some databricks functionality they need to "approve". (It's just an extension to Parquet). Wondering if we need to have .txt files approved next.

On October 18, 2021 Progress will be removing support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocols. Progress is discontinuing the support for these protocols to ensure Progress Web Services are using industry standard secure protocols. TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocols were formally deprecated by the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) in June, 2020 (RFC 8996). Progress is taking the above actions to ensure our entire technology stack is more secure.
