@Standback , @NeilFein , I am interested in writing a book on a particular class of natural products. Its isolation and biological functions. These are the two chapters that i can fit into the book. Hence the question was is it possible to have a tech book with just 2 chapters. These 2 chapters may run into about 75-100 pages each.

@standback @anil @MonicaCellio - I've written an answer, partially based on these discussions, partially based on my own educated guesses. for that last reason, I've made it CW and left a comment: Please correct me if I'm wrong! After all, I work with fiction, where we chapterize books according to feel and instinct.
