Just to make it super-clear (also for @senpai): Frank had 859 upvotes and 3031 downvotes in December 2013, 966 up and 12506 down in September 2015 and now has 1039 up and 34332 down now. Racking up so many downvotes (and removing like 12k rep yearly from the system) just shows... I don't know what to say. 0.3% upvotes in the past 4 years! — RudolfJelin Jun 22 at 6:03

People moderate how they choose to moderate, there's nothing wrong with that.
You shouldn't have to upvote to fulfill some arbitrary ratio.
