@Jolenealaska Well, hello! Nice to meet you, you two lovelies!
@Jolenealaska Sure - often for kids, because they are so active and “talkative”. And comparatively easy to care for. And because they are small enough to sometimes exempt from “no pets” rules in rental contracts.
How did Bacon react?

@Stephie Like they are barely worth her notice. She avoids looking at them, but she looked at them with a comical expression on her face when they simultaneously started squeaking loudly.

lol
little diva!

I think she realized she couldn't make that loud of a noise if she tried.
They are already just totally calm when I pick them up and will close their eyes when I pet them on their forehead. And they purr.
They're young enough that I think they're reverting a bit to baby behavior, and they find my holding them reassuring. I hope so anyway.

Awww!

There's nothing like something acting like a baby to make you want to baby them.

@Jolenealaska wow, they are so adorable!
Congratulations on expanding the household
Do they live in a cage, or are you letting them run around?

10:38 AM
and how is your tooth doing?

@rumtscho in case it’s a consolation: My roses have aphids, too.
I have currently no plans to fight them, the plants are so mature, they don’t really suffer. I will do something if it gets worse, so far, I am counting on nature’s equilibrium.

Sort-of-a-G&T on a Friday night. Elderflower cordial with a dash of lemon and soda instead of regular tonic water and a special flowery gin. Summer is here, all of a sudden.
Cheers!
