I have that LM thatâs a bit out of control. It was supposed to lounge in the fridge for up to a week. Now itâs plotting its escape after only three hours.
I kind of donât trust the village bakery (having observed the sales lady with some rather questionable hygiene behavior), the one in town seems to have decided to cut a few corners to increase profits Whuch means store bought sandwich bread or baking.
No, we have turned our focus towards outdoorsy/sporty things - after the ice skating season ended rather abruptly, we splurged on good rollerblades. And I am still trying to figure out how to do Zumba online.
Major difference - while most countries decided on a âlockdownâ, our government opted for âcontact restrictionsâ. You can go out, but meet with only one person (will be increased soon) not part of your household. Lingering is tricky, but as long as thereâs enough physical distance, youâre good.
Which leads to pretty dumb side effects - we have a few âscenicâ spots nearby. That are now overrun by city dwellers. Hubbyâs blood pressure went through the roof when we couldnât even get to yesterday afternoon.
@Stephie I can't wait to get back on the ice, once it's safe to do so. The ISU have done some free off-ice training/exercise videos recently, which are really good though :)
@Mithrandir24601 Our ice stadium thaws off by the end of March, so we missed about two weeks. And we are by no means pros - I still havenât that backwards thing internalized. But for fun? Hey, itâs literally seven minutes from home, so itâs good exercise. Minor 1 is at that age where the teens hang out in groups. And letâs be honest, it does impress the girls when you can skate well and show off a bit.
@Stephie 7 Minutes?? You are very lucky :o Well, to be honest, ironically for the only sport I took to easily, I just enjoy it and don't really care what other people think :P Unless their thinking about what I'm doing can improve what I'm doing :D And the backwards bit is just psychological - it requires less effort than going forwards :P
