11:55 AM
@rumtscho not at the moment. It’s very dead. I have an appointment later today. Let’s hope that it’s just a quick battery exchange. If not, I am truly crippled.

2 hours later…
2:07 PM
@Jolenealaska the 56 calories from 2g fat per serving?

2:34 PM
@Stephie yep (it actually reads 50 calories from fat) which leaves 10 calories total left for the 10 g of protein it is supposed to have per serving.

Third grade maths...

And the one gram of carbs.

My first thought was “must be breaded and fried”, then the test of the picture loaded.

I feel motivated to mess with them about it, but I'm not sure exactly why.

Nah, do it the professional way and report them.

2:42 PM
How's your phone?

Let the official channels do the dirty work.
@Jolenealaska utterly dead.
I am about to leave for the nearest Apple Store.

That's what I mean by messing with them. I could ignore it, or I could do what I'm actually going to do which is call the FDA if they don't call me back with an appropriate response today.

The phone is less than a year old.

Do you have most of your data in the cloud? Or on the phone itself?

@Jolenealaska good. They are the ones that can fine them.
@Jolenealaska too much on the phone.
I still hope that it’s just the battery.

2:44 PM
I lost a third of my body weight paying close attention to nutrition labels, I consider them kind of important.

They are important.

I hope it's just the battery too!

Have to go - keep your fingers crossed for me!

Consider them crossed.

4 hours later…
6:55 PM
@Jolenealaska Truly and utterly dead. Was sent to the great recycling pile in the Apple store and I went home with a new device.

and your data?

Some in the cloud, some gone forever. <sigh>
I am going to start the new phone in a while. Need to charge it first.

7:11 PM
same model?

@Jolenealaska yep. Exchange. Because a phone that’s not even a year old shouldn’t die like mine did.

It sure shouldn't.

2 hours later…
8:48 PM
Well I called the makers of the food product with that obviously erroneous label. The person I talked to was a food scientist .She suggested that those are rounding errors.
She was quite defensive about it too.
