kinda sucks if you're used to "modern" standards.

@Stephie Word from the Chinese Tea Master's apprentice is that the cheapest bottled water you can find (preferably from a mountain) is generally the best, short of finding a specific spring/stream etc. that so happens to be amazing

@JourneymanGeek and @Mithrandir24601: tea is a minor inconvenience. Boiling (and cooling!) water to wash a salad sucks. Had to ask twice today whether hubby really wanted lettuce - Saturday is farmers market day and we kind of always buy lettuce, so he picked it up just out of habit.

And of course you shouldn’t store the water too long and the containers need washing to prevent a biofilm - which again needs safe water...

Ugh, sounds like a bit of a nightmare :/
