Old questions and Answers are showing quality.
For Example look at this guy's questions and answers: hinduism.stackexchange.com/users/14/bharat

@TheLittleNaruto Yes, there were quality questions & answers.
There are many users like him
The way questions and answers are posted has changed since past 2 years.
These days, we are mostly seeing scriptural reference questions.

and answers only from scriptures which are mostly copying and pasting without much explanation and relevant for today. Scriptural reference questions might not be relevant for today's world.
Like one question asked can we name a girl so and so. There was no alternate option and I had to post what is said. That is irrelevant in today's world. :|
also look at the votes old posts got. 10+ was common. There are good answers too. Getting 10 votes is very rare these days.

My latest question got 400+ views in a single day which is very rare now-a-days.

because voting has significantly decreased

Yep. Got 3 or 4 downvotes and 12 upvotes I think on my latest question.

important thing is to upvote the post which you found good as early as possible. It increases heat on it.
