Q: How is birth time rectification done in astrology?

RickrossIn astrology, there is the concept of "birth time rectification (BTR)". As that website says (the site seems to be copy-protected), in natal astrology, knowing the time of birth (TOB) is vital for the predictions to be correct. But most natives are unsure of the exact TOBs for whatever reasons. ...

@NogShine - Probably the negative tone (in comments) towards new thems started from me 😀 now lot's of folks are saying that they like the classic design. Wht you think?

@SwiftPushkar they are saying they like or they don't like?

@NogShine Yeah , i agree that frequent changes are imp. for freshness. But expansion does not necessary require design change , they can simply add more options in available space . And the funding teams will look mainly at performance rather than merely aesthetic design and user friendliness , most users are frqent visitors , so they can remember the options very well :-)

baby Is @swift liking HSE ?

@TheLittleNaruto Certainly

So...can I just ask why this is even necessary? The cool designs are already there; it probably took more work to take out the cool stuff than just leave it as is (speaking in my professional non-developer opinion =) Also, those designs really ... made a site special. Cutting them out is a bigger loss for a lot of people than I think it's really worth. — heather 13 hours ago

@SwiftPushkar This change was to bring uniformity between graduated site theme. Users thought the themes will be improved to the top level but great themes are reduced to lesser level.
@SwiftPushkar I'm not happy with Stock theme. I replied my feedback to question within an hour.
Let's see what happens when the changes come live.

@TheLittleNaruto @NogShine what about the idea of users letting to choose their design and colour scheme of SE sites , i.e. they can choose from 5-6 different themes as per their taste. Is implementing this feature to the web sites is that costly? like we change the theme in windows or android.

@SwiftPushkar SE is not a small site. It's a big product with daily millions of users. Any changes is open to all users. They publish it in detail. And users only respond to those update if it looks good or not. Based on that they keep customizing a design which takes a real good time. I don't think it's a good option to have 5-6 themes. Also we might ended up seeing one theme in more than 2 sites.

@TheLittleNaruto Hmm.

@SwiftPushkar Yes. More designs means more designers and more expense. Maintainance also costs them. Some sites give night mode, or multiple options but if you observe they are horizontal sites like Quora. Ours is 170 sites. So, having a unique design which should be great is a tough task and having 5 each is almost not possible. They've achieved success by giving impressive designs to graduated sites.
