@fredsbend I'm not sure if it's appropriate for me to answer what actions I've taken, so I'll refrain from answerable that one. clearly it was a hammer strike.

@DavidStratton since it is publicly visible, it should be fine to indicate it if it was your first, just if it wasn't and the action that was isn't publicly visible you couldn't say what it was
the guide rule is that in almost all cases if a non diamond user with sufficient rep can see it, it is ok to disclose, if it is not (and isn't only impacting you) then it isn't

@DavidStratton Funny. For vtc's I fully trust you, personally. Edits of your's I've seen have been great too. One, though, recently, made me wonder what you were doing. One of Robert's answers, now deleted. It was about Protestant prayers services at the time, but Anonymous changed it to be about Lutheran Prayer vigils or something.
However, your edit you made to his post I think overstepped. If I'm remembering right, it significantly changed the meaning of it, though there wasn't much there to change in the first place.
After he rolled back, I edited to fix the grammar and spelling, which he consistently has issues with, and he rolled that back too!
I'm not asking for an explanation, but I just wanted to point it out because you mentioned editing. One caveat of editing a post from a new user is that it doesn't really help them understand the site better. I've had some of my posts edited so significantly and often on Skeptics that it was forced into a wiki post. In hindsight, it left me wondering what was going on, instead of helping me use the site better.
In the end though, we're all going to see your edits anyway, and you do a great job almost all the time, so just do what you've always done.
On Robert, I was having quite a lengthy exchange in the comments on several posts, so I preserved it in chat and encouraged him to take to me there. I knew I might need it.

@fredsbend - You're right, that edit was not what I'd normally do. I don't want to give too much away here, but essentially it was an experiment and I saw your conversation with him. I learned what I set out to learn from the reaction to the edit and your chat and have been intentionally quiet for now. I'm in silent observation mode.
