The thing about having two opposing sides acting as checks on each other is they don't take long to figure out they are on the same side

in Brazil we have several dozen parties, but they fall into two sides anyway: government and opposition... and they exchange votes for ministries and funding. so depending on how much the governing parties want to spend, their coalition is larger or smaller

so no matter if the president if from left or the right, the "center" is the one pulling the strings

Random question, but why does every post about LLMs these days seems to devolve into an argument about whether or not LLMs understand anything?

How hard is it to admit that we just have no idea what "intelligence" is, or how the fuck the LLMs work in the first place?

Because a bunch of geeks want to fall in love and legally marry an LLM some day
