Q: How can I log out from Stack Overflow?

HOW_TO_LOGOUTI can't log out. This was a test account, and now I can't log in to my normal account. I've tried to remove all the cookies. From Firebug, when I'm refreshing, I get logged out, but then I'm logged in again. What files on disk should I remove to be logged out permanently or is there a menu option...

seriously?

@cyberghost in theory you can extract anything that was stored in memory at the time of removal. Most modern OSs dont make it easy for you though. Its also not an attack that you see used that much.

@CaffeineAddiction how do they prevent it? and also, to add the ram to your machine, does it not have to be powered of? and does your os not try to utilize it, and override to contents? how do you prevent that?

@cyberghost You can write a custom OS to make sure it doesn't overwrite the RAM when you insert it. And while you do have to remove power from the ram to while moving it, that's exactly what the cooling is for. It makes the ram retain its contents for a short period of time without power.
