Why do people seem to like security.stackexchange.com/questions/171816/… while the similar but more precise question security.stackexchange.com/questions/54846/… which has an excellent answer is closed?
(and no, they aren't duplicates, despite the titles)

@Gilles possibly because length is a limited portion of what defines entropy
though I don't know I'd agree with the close reason of too broad
the one is also making a comparison of the trade off where as the other is just saying "how much should I go for" with no concept of balancing
which makes it a bit more either "opinion based", "not clear what you are asking" or "as much as possible"

@AJHenderson I voted to reopen the question with Thomas's answer, because I don't think it should be closed.
But I fear that people in the review queue will see that it's closed and hasn't been edited so they won't vote to reopen.
If anyone figures out how to edit the question to make it acceptable, please to so. I didn't manage because I think the question should have stayed open as it is.

@Gilles I through in a re-open vote too as I think it's close enough to be answerable. It isn't ideal as is, but it's answerable enough
