I asked one question about form security and I got told I should focus on security, not on building an illusion of security.
Ultimately, I tought about it and... isn't this "use your session id to validate a form" useless? (Maybe this is a good question for the site?)

@Zachiel That probably needs more details to be a clear question, but I suspect you're talking about an anti-CSRF token, that exists both in the session (could be the session id) and in the form itself. Is that correct?

I've attempted to spark some action regarding the long-standing suggestion of blocking external images with a post which included a live billion laughs "SVG" to freeze a few staff and moderator browser tabs (now edited to be safe):

Jeremy BanksI strongly recommend blocking non-Stack-hosted images in posts going forward. The potential harm may not be severe, but it exists and there is no benefit to balance it out. Reasons to leave them: To avoid inconveniencing editors of old posts, as we already do with shorted URLs. Nothing else? ...
