12:32 AM
@ScottPack Ha! No, I'd missed that. That's really, really cool.

1 hour later…
1:41 AM
@TildalWave Damn, I bet it sure does the work.

Well. The power just went out for a couple of seconds.

2:04 AM
Were you scared? It was probably really dark.

2 hours later…
4:32 AM
Are @copy and @paste related?

4:49 AM
@tylerl Hey you got an easy way to check a large number of email accounts?
Like say you have an email account and you're pretty sure you know the passwor
And way to check if your guess is right
password
A whole lot of times and on a whole lot of different accounts.
Only 1 guess per account

5:21 AM
@Griffin Write a python script.

5:53 AM
@tylerl That's the solution to all of life's problems.

6:16 AM
@TerryChia all the ones that can be automated, at least

@LucasKauffman What got you so excited?

Heh

2 hours later…
12:42 PM
This is pretty spot on.
@simon Not really, but it was annoying that the TV and HTPC shut off. I've never put a UPS in the living room.

12:54 PM
@ScottPack You have one or more UPS at home? That's neat.

/me grins. I also got an UPS at home.
Sweex brand, so I do not trust it near my computers
But it makes a great doorstop

All of mine are APC. I need to replace batteries in a couple.

I replaced my APC 1500 batteries last year. They reported power bad after only 10 months

Have a nice day everyone.

1:10 PM
That sucks. Ideally I have a 1500 for my computers, a 500-750 for the network infrastructure, and <250 for HTPC/TV. Like I said, though, I need to replace some batteries.

1:37 PM
Snark ftw?

A: Custom programming language, and translator that translate it to Java to make more difficult to get source

Terry Chia Is there a flaw I'm not seeing? You have to create your own custom language. You will not have access to tools such as IDE's and debuggers that makes writing code in that language easier. You have to write a translator to translate your custom language into Java bytecode. You will not have a...

3:07 PM
@TerryChia meh, it's easy to have "great" ideas, if you don't know what you're talking about LOL
I don't mean you obviously, I meant OP

@TildalWave Don't worry. Half the time I have no idea what I'm talking about either.

@TerryChia you speed-date too much :P

> If you choose censored you are advised: Sorry, for a censored internet you will have to pick a different ISP or move to North Korea. Our services are all unfiltered.

Is that a good enough active choice for you Mr Cameron?
Brilliant!

I'm pretty sure there's some here that can shed some light on the matter, and maybe we get a member more with it (shameless self-plucking,... dropping some chaffs in DMZ, see if it makes your air-to-air missiles turn into space :) :

Q: Preventing orbital decay and micro adjustments to orbits by "leaning" on Earth's magnetic field

TildalWaveWould it be possible, using current technology and renewable energy sources only (e.g. photovoltaics), to magnetically polarize external shields of orbiting satellites in such a way, to effectively prevent or substantially delay orbital decay, or to perform micro adjustments to their orbits (vert...

@TerryChia pretty cool explanation there, quite "reusable" :)

4:12 PM
Would have been fine with a form with a radiobox where you can select
> I want:
> [ ] Real Internet
> [ ] Censored internet. Would you like some books to burn with that?

4:32 PM
@CodesInChaos hehehe

@tylerl We're twins.

3 hours later…
7:32 PM
@paste you @copy and @paste within the family? :O

Well that's a terrible pun then.

8:26 PM
@ScottPack g'day sir!
did you move cities already?

3 hours later…
11:07 PM
@CodesInChaos There is no greater irony in the story than the fact that they're outsourcing their web censoring to the Chinese government. At least they're experienced.
