@nealmcb but the question isn't one on motivation, as they differ a bit on that front, but around why it is so hard to catch them. The reasons are pretty much the same - no membership as such, no names, no locations - so I think the question is equally appropriate to both

Q: Hiding user account names from unauthenticated RDP sessions.

IsziThis is for a Windows 7 Ultimate system, which is not a member of a domain. When I log into the system locally, I am required to either manually enter my user ID or authenticate with biometrics. The system does not display my username on the Welcome screen at boot-up, or when the session is loc...

Was kind of hoping I could get an answer here. :-(

We’ve added a bunch of new features to Careers 2.0 profiles.

Based on popular demand, have added CodePlex, Bitbucket, SourceForge and Google Code as open source hosts. (Plus an “other…” option for those we don’t explicitly support.)

Already, over 2500 people have added over 11,000 open source projects to their profiles!

Gateway drugs

We think that if you are active in open source, you deserve to be on Careers 2.0. So we’ve added “gateways” for GitHub and CodePlex – log in via those services, we’ll take a look at your activity and (perhaps) auto-invite you to Careers 2.0 on the spot. …
