which I didn't have to do, I could have just DV'd and moved on

@Sarah had I DV'd and not explained why, the user would not know and likely be frustrated for a DV with no feedback (often seen in chat from new users), but I'm also going to get complaints when I'm nice and explain my DV. I can't please everyone.

And the system is designed to be used by quickly differentiating signal from noise with votes. I didn't find the question very helpful so I DV'd it and left a comment explaining why with links to help the OP improve. I'm not really sure what else I could have done here

I am thinking of a meta post entitled "your truth is not my truth" to hammer home from the membership, that all this talk of 'truth' has no meaning to some people, hence is not a viable answer

I like the question, and even up voted it, but, it doesn't seem to be asking about the expression in the text? Please clarify for me because I am confused regarding why the moderators allowed this to fly.
