> In the process of trying to resolve this one - found that the fundamental issue is that the `Parser` returns 0 rather than 1 `IdentifierReference(s)` for `Property Let Description` in the MCVE below. So, the inspection logic is not the issue, it is correctly evaluating the _incorrect_ data it has received. So, it does seem that the `With` statement is "throwing a wrench" into this scenario.

Since I steer clear of anything involving the `Parser`, I'll leave behind the MCVE test code I wa

@Duga not sure resolver is the correct label.

The reference resolver generates the references. So the tag is right.

@MathieuGuindon Thanks for the invite. I had to think a bit before accepting. I'm not a professional programmer, just dabble as a hobby. However I'm in the last stages of retiring so will have some free time and am willing to learn. Happy to be told to just sit on my hands.

That's ok, not much harm done.

Is there a way to close RD properly so Excel doesn't leave any services behind when exiting?

> It's kind of random - I personally haven't experienced a crash on shut down with an Excel host for a long time, but you can try to manually unload the add-in (via the VBE's "add-ins" menu) before closing Excel: the issue primary arises when the host decides to kill certain COM objects before Rubberduck had a chance to let them go, so a manual unload should systematically result in a clean process exit.

I will try your suggestion although it may be simpler to kill Excel when I'm done... 😉

Thanks again and good luck with the next version.

The inspections handles the case of UDT return types via a parse tree visitor. That did not consider the case of a with assignment, which I fix in this PR. Moreover, the visitor rather worked like a listener before, which I change as well.

@Duga First PR in ages. Kind of feels good.

@Freeflow you'll fit in just fine. IIRC no one here is a professional programmer. We just learned by doing.
Hrm. I forgot it sign up for hacktoberfest this year. A Tshirt is calling to me however.
@IvenBach remedied. Tonight's agenda is searching for some low hanging fruit.
