> I'm aware of that, of course, and absolutely use it to sort the results by modules. But with dozens of modules it still makes for a looong list that takes a bit to update. Just an idea for an option.

@HackSlash Since you asked, here's another error I'm getting from SQL Server when trying to load my data: Error Number: -2147217900 -- Description: XML parsing: line 1542, character 24, '>' expected

Why in the world would SQL Server expect @this?
wow, this hasn't been here long enough that he didn't show up in the @ mention list. :(
this is today's error.

Great. It seems that today's error is transient. I ran the load process a couple more times as I was working on improving the logging (it now writes the raw XML to the log if I get an error loading it - makes it easier to see where the error is), and after a couple of tests, it just loads without error.
:/
On the bright side, I've got the improved error logging code in prod now, so if/when this happens again, I should have all the necessary info in my log to at least start the investigation.

yay for mid-week progress

mine or yours? I don't feel like I'm making much progress...

1:48 PM
Ah well I have some.
I thought the bright side comment meant progress.

Glad you're making progress! Yeah, better logging is progress, but things that happen, then don't is just, well... frustrating. :/

My progress includes introducing GH to another team member. Yeah, our team is not very technical.

2:05 PM
Hey, I considered myself technical, but I just met GH a couple of years ago... :/

@MathieuGuindon No worries.
I am not much better myself. I will probably do some minor stuff for Hacktoberfest. However, for anything significant, I will have to see whether I can find some motivation between too much work work and continuing to finally get our new house into shape.
