Didn’t realize VB was a gateway because of the low barrier. Yet that’s what got me into VBA. Along with my stubbornness to not realize I was in over my head.

Duck check: Has it already been discussed the idea of adding Option Explicit to all modules that don't already have it? Also to have Require Variable Declaration be checked and enabled for use thereafter.

OptionExplicitInspection was one of the first inspections implemented =)

Ensuring Option Explicit is everywhere is its purpose

I should have realized there was an inspection for it. I was thinking like a mandatory setting that can’t be turned off. Since really that should never have been optional in the first place.

Mornings aren’t my best thinking time either.
