13 hours later…
12:43 PM
Quiet... too quiet.

Monkin' @RubberDuck, I was just thinking that...

Monkin' @FreeMan. It's partially because I'm on vaca.

you're entitled. once

I'm actually really not liking it. I'm bored and don't know what to do with myself.

1:18 PM
@FreeMan can you open issues on GitHub for the bugs you've found? Can you repro them with simple code?

I can open an issue, but I'm not sure about the 'simple code' part.
Don't really have anything particularly simple at the moment, and I'm pretty sure simple code works - that's what y'all been testing with

1:40 PM
What I mean is really if you could try to reproduce the issue by isolating the bug. ...and I tested the resolver against the nastiest, complex, ambiguous code that's possible to write in VBA ;-)

> When I open an Excel project and open the _Code Explorer_ window, I get the following:

It will remain that way for 15 minutes or more. (Note that the last `VBAProject` listed is my actual code for this project - it's since been properly renamed.)
If I close and re-open the _Code Explorer_ window, it appears blank:

It's very consistently reproducible. What do you want me to do to try to isolate it?
I think I've got another add-in or two enabled, let me try disabling them...
Yes, I have Smart Indenter v3.5 and MZ-Tools 3.0 Will disable and retest

1:56 PM
> I have the `Smart Indenter v3.5` and `MZ-Tools 3.0` add-ins installed.

Disabling them has not improved the situation. Uninstalling them doesn't help either.

Anything else to look at? This is the first time I've used any VBA add-ins, so I'm not sure what I can do to help test
Also... Meeting. will be back in an hour or so.

Oh I meant the one involving simple class fields not picked up as ever used!

2:16 PM
oh.
I'll get that posted, since our meeting seems to be somewhat delayed by the prior one running over...

> The _Code Inspections_ window is incorrectly claiming that variables are not being used in a class, when they are, in fact, being used in the Getter & Letter.

This could be due to the `NullReferenceException` generated if _Code Inspections_ is the first of the RD windows to be opened in a newly opened Excel workbook. (See Issue:....)
> When I open an existing Excel workbook, then open the _Code Inspections_ window in RD, I get the following NRE:

```
and now the meeting...
2 hours later…
that meeting got over just in time to grab food and go to the next one.
gotta love jobs...
Already?! Heh... Nice.
I wonder how many have been with us since 1.0
11:14 PM
I bet most of them. At least half.
> I remember when the Rubberduck guys released the very first version. It was awful.
Gosh... a regex-based "parser"... that wasn't going anywhere
You think our grammar is worth making a PR on the original repo I took it from now?
11:28 PM
Yeah. It's certainly better than the original and it's not really a VB6 parser. It's a VBA parser.
11:50 PM
So submit it as another grammar.
rather than a replacement.
FYI I'm currently wrestling with the VBA grammar now.
Ever been reading a book and suddenly realize that you're a moron?
I'm an idiot.
