Do you know why my edit of typos was rejected? puzzling.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/47327
It was "correcting" already-correct British English to American English. That (or equally its reverse) is generally regarded as not something that's worth editing a post for.

Q: I speak without a mouth and hear without ears

AjayI speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with wind. What am I? This riddle relies on tricking you into thinking about ears and a mouth. You get a tiny hint about wind to encourage you to think broadly and avoid the literal.

Q: How not to discourage new contributors

DEEMI see this a few times with "New Contributor" puzzles. Many of them have not really looked at the site rules or HELP sections and end up making mistakes (been there, done that). Q: Is there a font/format I can use to keep the size of each character equal when posting riddles?

risky mysteriesWhen I write rhyming riddles, I make it a challenge for me to use the exact same amount of characters in each line. When that happens, congrats to me! But the rendered output doesn't show my effort. Is there a font/format I can use to keep the size of each character equal when posting riddles? ...

@bobble Its a very good answer! Furthermore it hit HNQ which means it got a lot more traffic (its at I think 1k views) so more people will have seen it and upvoted :)
Also the concept is quite clever and original, which people, especially those viewing from HNQ appreciate - seeing something new is always more interesting then the same usual things
I'm using the a maze-solving method from an older, linked question
Oh wow it's still on HNQ after 2 days, surprised its not even hit 1k considering that
It seems HNQ is a positive feedback loop: it links to popular questions, making them more popular, and so forth
Indeed, but they changed the algorithm a while ago which boosted 'hotness' of questions with many answers, and also increased the effect of time, so I'm surprised it's still there with just 2 answers and after 2 days
Questions rarely stay on that long unless there's many answers or an extremely high upvoted answer
