@Hueco Well, I am buying it from an individual. The filters are most probably purchased separately, I have never seen a kit with filters included (in online stores) for sale here.
Do you think I should have it cleaned after I buy it?

@RogUE Cleaned? Only if it needs it. Pop the lens on, set the aperture to f/22 and take a shot. This will expose all of the dust that's on the sensor. If it's really bad, then have it cleaned or do so yourself. A small blower and/or brush is harmless enough. If you're not comfy with the process, most camera shops will charge ~$100 for a CLA
Just note that 1) it'll never be perfect and 2) even if it were, it'd take one lens change outside on a mildly breezy (or worse) day to mess up the perfection. Dust is a fact of life. Dealing with it, especially if you need to stop down a ways, is something you learn to do

Oh neat! We can get Stack Exchange staff attention after all. My post photo.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/7019/… got deleted by a "Senior Product Support Specialist".

Which is ironic because a large portion of my complaint is lack of attention from Stack Exchange staff.

@mattdm Well, if you don't mind waiting a couple of days...

@MichaelC Did you see it in the meantime? Interested in trying a New Thing Which I Won't Mention Again?

@mattdm I can still see it using the link above, since my rep allows me to see deleted/hidden posts. I'm having to think about it. Not sure my writing ability is holding up very well as I age compared to when I started here in 2012 or so. I look at some of my early posts and think, "I wish I could still do that!" It's not just my writing skills. Based on many factors IRL, I'm beginning to suspect I may have symptoms of early onset dementia.

@MichaelC Oh geez! Sorry to hear that! That must be scary!

@mattdm Yep. My advice to those younger than I is to choose carefully where you decide to make your mark. I'm beginning to wonder about/regret all the time I've devoted here when the entire network seems to be falling apart at the seams.

:( I don't think there's anything to regret. You've helped make it a better place, and nothing lasts forever.

But, yes, my future effort is going to go to something that's truly community-owned.

Q: What am I allowed to put in my profile?

mattdmI'm planning to leave Stack Exchange, or at least scale back my efforts significantly. I don't plan to rage-quit or delete my content. I'm glad that my writing has helped people — my profile currently says "~8.5m people reached", and I'm proud of that. I don't want just ghost out, though — I'd l...
