Anyone want to hear some Christmas shenanigans?
Not bad, just hilarious for me (and several of the church choir folk) this morning
The choir is doing a recruitment drive rn, and we were singing in the hall trying to drum up interest with some classic carols and such. I got us to sing Antioch (the tune to joy to the world) with lyrics from o little town of Bethlehem
We got at least three people to do a double take
We were going to do the tune of angels from the realms of glory with the words from angels we have heard on high, but the choirmaster didn’t think it was as funny or cool to mess around with meter as we thought it was
