Anyway, that shirt is related to the (summer?) camp from the fourth movie.

so, one possible interpretation is that she is at the camp, Dash is still oversleeping and she is thinking of giving her a surprise wake with the confetti gun.

Yet, there is a little oddity.

While she is not sleeping with that shirt...

When all the other girls go to Twilight house in the movie intro...

They are already wearing the shirt with the camp logo.

and she pick out one from the dresser.

so, oddly, the shirt is not something that they got on the first day at the camp but some merchandise that was given them before.

Almost every student wears one.

(with some rare exception - for example Bulk Biceps)

Rarity's version even has frills.

so maybe the logo is a patch that they knit tho the dress (or one of those adhesive ones you iron?)

Either way, the point is that it is possible that the original idea for the picture is that the scene is suppose to happen BEFORE they got to the camp and that is Pinkie at Dash house waking her up since she was oversleeping and not ready-to-go yet.

As about HOW the girls manage to get in each other houses early in the morning while the owner is sleeping, either parent or everyone has a spare set of keys.

Or Pinkie just uses her hair as a lockpick.

Overthinking this even more (because fun)

it is kinda odd that they all already have the shirt or the pin they put on the shirt or whatever it is

I would say it's more likely a pin because literally everyone is wearing a different colored shirt with different designs and or different sleeves and such

it would be a lot more weird that they bothered to make so many different shirts that don't conform to each other's design than that they just made pins for everyone

anyway I think it's a pretty nice design

and I think it's good that they didn't just put everyone in the same uniform

because despite the fact that the characters are also differentiated in other ways the clothing difference is one of the ways they use to differentiate characters

That said, to be honest, that is not a requirement either.

Mini-dolls from the "Sleepover" set.

There is a sleepover scene in the second movie.

but neither of those match.

Considering that the party is at Pinkie house, not even the bed matches

(and while we are at it, the rubber chicken is a reference to the main pony show, not EG, so that is also a weird choice to include with Pinkie sleepover mini-figure)

... At least the EG mini dolls are decent, they look like the actual chacters.

Some of the "brushable hair" ones are nightmare fuel.
