@doppelgreener once upon a time, when FF7 first came out on PS1, I bought what latter I discovered was a botleg unlicensed keychain from a store. It had a small Barret figurine attached on it.

How do I know it was a bootleg?

I was able to find a picture of those keyholders online.

You will probably notice something... off... on the Barret one (that said the other were pretty low quality too - notice Aerith staff is curved)

That said, it is a little sad. Mind you, at the end of the story in the game Barret still manages to be a likeable character, but...

Had really the boss of an Eco-Terrorist group to be a Black Male, who coincidentally looks just like Mr. T, fairly hot-headed, constantly shouting bad words....
