just in case someone wants to play with AI generated pony voices - here is a link. Fluttershy seems to be the one that gives best results for some odd reason. As a bonus, you can also play with Glados voice with pretty good results too.

Per its characters list, it has voices for, besides MLP ponies: GLaDOS and Wheatley from Portal, the Narrator from The Stanley Parable, the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who, the Soldier from Team Fortress 2, and Sans from Undertale
the Wheatley one is not great
...there's also a Chell one for some reason. you will be entirely unsurprised by the results.

lol
a Chell voice XD
just,.... why???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
it would be better to make a Link voice, at least he says "HA!" XD he even says it several different ways

I've never played The Stanley Parable, but the Stanley option seems to have similar results

wait to Chell?
because that guy is a fantastic narrator
he actually talks a lot
XD
his talking is what fills up most of the game
they even use it to pointedly tell you you have screwed with something by making him not talk for a while (if you do certain things to trigger it I mean)

@trogdor there is also a Sans voice.... With predictable results.

8:43 AM
Stanley, not the Narrator (I assume Stanley is the character)

@V2Blast ooooh wait yeah

the Narrator voice works, if sounding a bit weird
Tenth Doctor voice is... eh

I thought you meant the Narrator voice cause you mentioned it before
XD

the voice for the Soldier from TF2 sounds strangely Scottish
lol

huh
which is weird because,... there's definitely a (stereotyped) scottish character in that, but it isn't him
he's supposed to be,... generically American I think
(as opposed to say, Scout who is streriotyped Boston Accent Guy)
(or BAG for short,.... look I dunno I just had to say it)

8:47 AM
yeah, Soldier's supposed to have a Midwest US accent

I would say Midwestern US accents are sort of treated as the "generic" version of an American accent
even though there's very distinct accents from all over the country
or maybe because of that
I guess we only hear a small number of Brittish accents too, or,... from a lot of places really
although if I stray outside of Europe it also starts becoming very steriotyped and unhealthy
but actually, British accents are the ones that surprise me the most, in terms of how many there are
it's such a relatively small place, but it has a ton of accents

There's also a voice for the Pyro
lol
it's about what you'd expect
Sans is also what you'd expect :P

lol

why have they tried to make voices for all these characters with no to limited voices?

8:58 AM
who knows

sans is a sort of digital mumbling/beeping sound
Pyro is,.. a guy yelling (probably something incoherent to begin with) through a very muffling mask
Chell,.. I think maybe she makes noise when she lands on her feet from a fall from very high up, or gets hit by a turret but is otherwise silent
Stanley doesn't freaking talk at all as far as I'm aware XD
I mean,... maybe Chell and Stanely are in there because they are in games where someone else talks and they needed to include all the characters? but why?

also on the SE-related note:

It’s easy to wonder how leaders, even the good ones, sleep at night. The decisions that come across their desks affect so many lives, jobs, healthcare, human rights. All of these decisions impact large sums of people and their ability to sustain their personal Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. It’s hard to imagine how they can…

/me adds 'perpetuating the very dubious Maslow hierarchy memeplex' to the list of SE's issues.

This podcast is meant to reach the Stack community, so we thought it would be great to have some of the moderators who help keep our communities running come on the show and chat about what they do and what they are seeing.

(but then Pyro is in there and they didn't include a lot of the like, 8 I think? other characters who actually say words) XD
ok I tried it, and I think Pyro is actually really good, considering he says absolute gibberish normally and,... it's still gibberish in this XD

9:10 AM
yes, it's very accurate. but then so are Chell's and Stanley's and Sans's? :P

I suppose so?
XD
in fact it seems like it's like, incredibly accurate
almost like they just took the random things he says and just use those
instead of generating one
it may be weird and surprising but I recognize all the things Pyro says in this AI voice thing as,... exactly what he says in the game
I really liked Pyro when I used to play TF2 as a teenager XD

I basically never played TF2 because it didn't run well on my computer (a MacBook back then)

Ah
I had a pretty decent computer to play it on because my brother built one specifically for gaming
the lag however
XD

9:54 AM
also, since I was browsing a merch database trying to find who made a specific plush...
WHY

10:09 AM
I guess for comedy?

1 hour later…
11:36 AM
@trogdor Well, I assume that I should't be the one talking, since I own this one

Lol

(at least this one already was a pig in the source material - or "turned into a pig" to be more precise)
