Q: Physical phenomena which were "discovered" by mathematics before they were observed

codeing_monkey(I am new to this community. If this is off-topic, please let me know and I will close immediately!) I was watching a Veritasium video on YouTube regarding the novel solution to the Einstein field equations and how the singular solution at the Schwarzschild radius perplexed researchers at first. ...

Q: How does mass relate to kinetic energy?

user386598This is a pretty basic question and it's pretty self-explanatory. I was working on homework and I had to list what kinetic energy depends on. Interestingly, it turns out it's also based on mass, not only speed. Does anyone have an explanation? Thanks!

Q: Why do objects roll down slopes at the same speed?

user386598I had to do an online simulation in class, and for some reason an object with twice as much as another rolled down a slope at the same speed of the other object. In other words, objects with a large difference in mass still rolled down the slope at the same rate. Is this correct, first off, or wa...
