@lyxal i love how the cushions are wide, shallow rings that are just guaranteed to crush their ears into their head
it's even worse than the headphones they'd have at schools, that you're just in splitting agony after wearing for 10 minutes

@UnrelatedString hey at least you get those popper things, cat ears and RGB :p

:p
i assume the rgb is just a preprogrammed pattern of lights since it would be weird to need to install drivers for something marketed as a kids toy

did I mention it's wireless? It's also wireless
those rgb lights are going to do wonders for the battery!

lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
...also come to think of it do you have to take the bubble wrap pop things off to reset them or are they just fake

12:53 AM
actually yeah that's a good question. usually those things have a flip side where you can pop them back out
but the image doesn't show any flip side

5 hours later…
5:48 AM
nooo they got rid of the funny episode plots for Metastasis from imdb :(
how will I follow Mike's journey to get an iPad now?

1 hour later…
7:13 AM
why does pil make it so hard to draw lines with rounded caps
look at this bullshit

7:27 AM
Because apparently no one knows how to make good graphics drawing software
Except draw.io

i might just try switching to a different library from some random so answer

Hey I've been meaning to ask - is the all lowercase message style intentional or just accidental?
No judgement on it - I just read an article the other night that talked about lowercase shitposting
And how it made someone connect with themselves better
^ is the article on lowercase letters

7:51 AM
half intentional half convenience
skimming the article it definitely clicks a bit

@lyxal i never rly like to capitalize when chatting, too much work to click the shift key lol
and its also partly cuz i want to be "informal" and relax when chatting here, dont want to think about being grammatically correct or worry too much about what i typing
obviously i use correct grammars in essays and even in stack exchange post but not rly in chat too much

Interesting
(to both of y'all's reasonings)
It's fascinating in a sort of "I respect and vibe with that" sort of a way.

8:11 AM
ok i skim through the article and well i dont necessarily use lowercase for same reason the article says but they still have valid point, like they say its for writing flow and such, but i mainly just like to use all lowercase cuz its convenient and like this is a chatroom, its relaxing and informal so i feel like i can use more informal language and grammars
dont want to be thinking about capitlization and punctuation and spelling all the time when i write lol

I'm just used to writing with correct capitalisation and punctuation

@AidenChow what do you mean you don't meticulously plan your messages and then try and predict what the responses will be until you have a message you're happy with?
@emanresuA I do this because autocorrect(tm)

i mostly chat on my pc so i fight autocorrect on my phone

@UnrelatedString lmfaooo
thats too much work for me, i usually just let autocorrect do its thing when im on mobile. so as u can tell im obviously on pc rn lmao
@emanresuA im too lazy to be reaching for the shift key and the apostrophe key and even the period key all the time lol, just keep everything easy
@lyxal O_O i just type out whatever come to my mind lol, its like my brain shut off when im chatting lmfaoo

@AidenChow Most of the time that's what I do, but sometimes (like this message and the one you replied to), I do a little thinking about :p

8:24 AM

That reply was definitely not part of my simulations :p

wrong alt-t :ʁ
(ipa keyboard instead of intl)

@UnrelatedString man yall really do be using greek letters in emoticons now... whats next, :∫ and ∑: ??
@UnrelatedString ok da hell is that supposed to mean now

8:37 AM
:﷽

ok my dude really went full on arabic
not even trying to make it resemble a face anymore lolol

@UnrelatedString the alternate form of XD lmao

2 hours later…
10:29 AM
who is it that said "hey you know what would be funny? making hoodies really itchy"
I just want to wear my alexa developer swag without having to scratch gosh dang it!

4 hours later…
2:20 PM
@emanresuA :𒈙
summoning cthulu be like
@lyxal well, I wish I'd learnt about this site earlier

1 hour later…
3:50 PM
wow, my computer just updated without booting to a black screen
...because the third-party hack to put my taskbar on the left just isn't doing that instead

Imagine having to reboot when updating your computer

WAIT
IT STILL WORKS
THE SETTINGS JUST RESET SOMEHOW
let's fucking go

2 hours later…
6:05 PM
@AidenChow ∑:3

Well that was...shockingly easy
I googled the right combination of phrases and happened to find a PDF of the 1938 RSPM by mistake
From the world's shadiest website, but still
(Oddly enough it did have a .edu domain, despite seeming to me to pretty clearly cater to pirates)

6:35 PM
Thing I worldbuilt in the Rabbit room:
If the Trojans decided to abandon the city and let the Greeks burn it, since they'd rather live in the horse
The humans are not to scale
This was just the best thing I could find on Google Images

7:10 PM
> Examples include spelling "Prom?" with pepperoni on pizza,[12] organizing a flash mob,[13] wearing a fursuit,[14] graffitiing national park land,[15] and using a hot-air balloon.[16]
This is...quite the range

@RydwolfPrograms *burns the horse*
you need a firefighting district

ooh true
That can be a government office
Or a military function
Horsetroy would obviously have to be a lot bigger than this image shows
I love the idea of the tail being a giant gravity battery tho
The craft district could use it to power machinery, along with the inventor district, the water storage and agricultural district could use it for irrigation, the government districts could use it to pump water up from the tanks
I wonder where they'd get the power from
Maybe the military trainees
It could also be used to provide additional force for getting it to roll
This diagram shows soldiers getting to the ground through a rope ladder from the military bay, but I think soldiers might also get down by going through the legs
The platform would be elevated enough that it could be used as a platform for archery/attacking downward with long spears
The horse could use regenerative braking if it needs to stop
They'd just attatch a rope from the battery to the axles
In order to get it rolling again, they'd do one of two things
One option is taking a whole bunch of power from the gravity battery and soldiers and storing it up into raising a weight up high. Then they'd drop it, and after it fell a certain height a rope would go taut, creating a massive impulse on the axles, starting the rolling
The other option would be attatching a giant tree trunk to the underside of the platform, then all the soldiers get out and push it, with the assistance of the gravity battery
Once it's rolling, soldiers in the military bay would pull on ropes wrapped around the axles to keep them going

2 hours later…
9:51 PM
:63267079 guessing this doesn't work then? :P

10:03 PM
@UnrelatedString imagine not having centre task bar

I remember in science class in 7th grade our teacher tried to get us to play telephone to understand how mutations gradually changed animals over time but no matter what the starting message was it would always come out as "[someone]'s mom is hot"

That's probably one of the better outcomes ngl

how to teach carcinization

You know, that seems like a fun variant of telephone - instead of trying to keep the message accurate, you see how messed up you can make it.
And you're only allowed to change one word you think you heard
Or add a word
It would be interesting to see how quickly a phrase would devolve into some copypasta shitpost

Call it Prison Telephone
You're being monitored, so any changes have to be subtle enough the guards will assume it was accidental

10:17 PM
Oh no this would be completely up to the honour system

But the honor system is what allowed "[somebody]'s mom is hot"
People wouldn't follow it

Ooh ooh and if someone calls bs on a message pass, they can call an emergency meeting to determine if the message is an impostor
Message passing but among us

But how would you know to call bs or not, you can't know any information about the message beforehand
It'll virtually always be silly

Because you can tell by the way someone is saying it and whether that person has a tendency to be silly

10:19 PM
And also you may overhear what came beforehand
It'd be a fun social deduction game

I don't buy it

I don't need you to
I just need teachers to

I made a fun card game once
You have five random cards
You play one, upside down, and your opponent does the same
You say what your card is, and they say what theirs is
Whoever's is higher wins
But if the loser thinks the winner is lying, they can challenge
(If no challenge occurs the winner keeps the loser's card and the winner's card is discarded)
If the challenge is unsuccessful and the winner really won, the winner can keep their card as well as the loser's
And if it's successful the loser can keep both
The goal is to be the last person with cards remaining
If there's a tie, you just each play another card, and the outcome applies to both of the cards played by each player
So ignoring challenges the winner keeps both of the loser's cards and discards their own two
If there's a tie and you have no cards remaining, you lose
In a tie, either party can challenge
If one challenges, normal challenge rules apply
If both challenge and only one lied, normal challenge rules apply
If both challenge and neither lied, you continue with the tie as usual
If both challenge and both lie, both cards are discarded
The person who says their card first is whoever gained cards in the previous turn, or if neither/both did, the opposite person as the last turn
Actually ^ might be incorrect
Idr how it was determined who says theirs first

1 hour later…
11:31 PM
y'all this thing lives on earth
ew

11:47 PM
ur mom

I'm a wolf not the result of baby yoda and a lemur having children

*a recursive wolf
