Wanna know what's always annoyed me about the "Escape to the Country" TV show? How you can get to the end of all the house tours and end up with the couple saying "actually we ain't getting any of these lol" and everyone just has to be chill about it like "oh okay lol" and not "then why'd you waste everyone's time?!"
Like you're better off watching House Hunters where they pick a house 99% of the time, even if it's somewhat scripted or staged
At least then you get a satisfactory conclusion to the show
Not "thanks for showing us all these houses in the British countryside but actually you failed at showing us a house we actually like"
That's basically every episode too btw
It's not like house hunters or the international version where no house is chosen like 1% of the time
It's always usually "none of these were good"
Which gets really bland after a while
It should be called "escape to the country but not when the cameras are rolling and only after show production is finished"

lmao what

House Hunters is an American unscripted television series that airs on HGTV and is produced by Pie Town Productions. Each episode follows people making a decision about a new home purchase or rental. == Format == House Hunters follows individuals, couples, or families searching for a new home with the assistance of a local real estate agent. In each episode, the buyers must decide among three potential houses or apartments to buy or rent, ultimately choosing one before the end of the episode. The show concludes by revisiting the chosen home a few weeks or months later, when participants describe...

ah, so the participants also engage in local activities
that makes much more sense than just showing houses off

Coffee and chocolate milk. Good idea in theory, kinda not so good in practice
Purely because the two tastes cancel each other out
You'd probably need something a bit stronger than what I have for it to work and be pleasant

it also doesn't take much chocolate milk to have an effect
i drink my coffee black 90% of the time but when i do dilute it it's with like 5 parts coffee to 1 part chocolate milk
also it's never actual milk
it's usual almond milk

@UnrelatedString ah dang. Sounds like I put too much in
My ratio was probably more 4:1 than 5:1

11:20 PM
@lyxal You can always throw in some liquor to make it taste better
You don't even need to worry about portions, the more you put in, the better it is

Ah but you missed the part where I don't drink alcohol :p

Then you can eat a brownie with your coffee
An edible one

sobriety is cool though :sunglasses_emoji:

11:36 PM
i thought you could drink a whole keg :P

I just program it - I leave the suffering of drinking to others :p

lyxal guided others to a treasure he couldn't possess
3
Now that Vyxal is alcohol-free (as well as gluten-free and everything else free), he can use it himself

that's right

11:59 PM
@UnrelatedString I mean I guess they do but "people just looking at houses" is a whole genre of low effort TV series
