Well TIL my old water heater was venting improperly after some roof repairs, and our guest attic was slowly filling with carbon monoxide

We decided to put less emphasis on ground combat though, and replaced it with a tankless water heater

come to think of it "venting improperly" reminds me the first time i was forced to play among us i got impostor the first game and was deeply confused by not being able to open the tasks on my list to feign doing them, and then the second game i got crewmate and was even more confused by not being able to use vents
nobody ever explained anything to me and it left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth forevermore

also it was a weird setup with using discord and muting yourself except during meetings, which meant the meetings were just shouting matches between a bunch of guys who actually did know how to play

Another thing that the w3schools c tutorial told me is that if i wanted to use strings, i had to use them as an array (ex. char test[] = "Test string")

that was a fucking lie, i could just use char*

there's like only 1 perk to strings as char arrays, and that is being able to change a character without redefining the string (ex. char test[] = "Test string"; test[4] = ',')
