room topic changed to Faith vs. conceptual framework: A room to discuss the relationship of faith to various concepts defined through theology, philosophy, religion, Bible interpretation, and denomination [comparative-christianity] [comparative-religion] [denomination-survey] [philosophy] [theology]
This room is open for general discussion and for assistance in creating good question on C.SE related to the relationship between personal faith in Jesus Christ (a matter of the heart, will, and spirituality) as contrasted to a person's theology, philosophy, religion, Bible knowledge, and denomination (a matter of head knowledge).

@GratefulDisciple can you give an example of the discussion you’d like to see?

New visitors, please see this answer and the definition of topics.
Three main topics are discussed in this room: 1) The Study of Christianity: Christian theology in relation to other disciplines: philosophy vs. theology, faith vs. reason, conscience & capax Dei, theological anthropology, foundations of ethics & morality, psychology & philosophy of religion, religious studies, comparative religion, mythology, etc.
2) Who is a Christian: Christian self-understanding: relationship with God vs. denomination / concept / religion / theology, conversion, Christian and the collective (the Kingdom vs. body of Christ vs. the universal church vs. the local church), conscious vs. anonymous vs. cultural Christian, inclusivism vs. exclusivism vs. universalism, etc.
3) The role of Denomination: Denomination in relation to a Christian: orthodoxy vs. orthopraxy vs. orthopathy, denomination and the Bible / theology / creeds / confessions, comparative Christianity, mere vs. rigid Christianity, ecumenism, ecclesiology, historical development of denominations, etc.

room topic changed to Being a Christian vs. Christianity: A room to discuss the relationship of faith to various conceptions of Christianity defined through theology, philosophy, religion, Bible interpretation, and denominations [comparative-christianity] [comparative-religion] [denomination-survey] [philosophy] [theology]
The room name is Being a Christian vs. Christianity, designed to help a Christian navigate through the bewildering maze of options throughout Christian history, due to differences in denomination and Bible interpretation.
The purpose is to help bring clarity to how philosophy, religion, hermeneutics, and social studies contribute to the construction of theology, and how a theology is backed by an authority embodied in a church. Christian then uses all three to guide his personal beliefs and spirituality so that his/her subjective experience of Christ doesn't go astray.

@LukeHill Did I answer your question? I see that these 3 topics are quite common in C.SE.
I hope it's helpful for at least 3 types of Christians: 1) those who are not happy with their current denomination and is "shopping around". 2) Christians who have intellectual issues with their current understanding of Christianity but still want to follow Christ. By broadening their options, hopefully they can still be a Christian.
3) Christians who want to tolerate their brothers and sisters who call themselves Christians (for example, Calvinists encountering LDS / Pentecostal) but a) not sure whether the LDS/Pentecostal friends are really Christians, b) don't want to call them "heretics", and c) don't want to force Calvinism on to them either.
