Links with http://www.math.ucla.edu/~asl/ - 28 networkwide, 11 on Mathematics, 10 on MathOverflow.
I guess that at least the links which point to a file should be changed to https - otherwise they won't work correctly. (At least in some browsers.)
But maybe somebody knows more about this issue (http vs. https when linking to another site).
I suppose that this is a general problem - not only for this specific domain.

@MartinSleziak I notice the novel (?) tag "dead-link" exists only on meta, where it tags a couple of posts that discuss them. Should we introduce it on the main site and suggest using it to help find posts with known broken links?

@hardmath I do not think that having a tag called on the mai site would be suitable. After all, it would be a meta tag.
The tag was created in January by Calvin Khor.
in Martin Sleziak's room, Jan 14 at 11:10, by Martin Sleziak
@CalvinKhor Yes, I have noticed the tag . In fact, I have mentioned it in the tagging chatroom: https://chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/3740/2022/1/14 (And I have also mentioned similar tags on some other metas.)
Calvin Khor brought up ^^^ this tag in another chatroom - one of the reasons why I wanted to have at least one other posts with the tag was to avoid the tag being removed by an automated script. (If a tag has a single occurrence and no tag-wiki, it gets removed after 6 months on the main site, after 12 months on meta.)
There are similar tags on some other sites: broken-links on Super User Meta and on Meta Stack Exchange and Meta Stack Overflow.
