Q: How do moderators prove that they are at least 18 years old?

Alex M.I've just noticed that moderators are required to be at least 18 years old (the very bottom of the page). How do they prove this? Do they have to send the image of a national identity document issued by their country? I thought that SE users, moderators included, are allowed to remain anonymous i...

@user1729 I've pointed out a number of circular links myself. I'm glad my suggestion to leave a day between question collection and nomination, and a day between nominations and voting, was dismissed prematurely, @JNat. The break seems more needed for the CM overseer, than for users, so as not to send users on a rat race. I'm wondering, too, if the erroneous links were deliberate. I woudn't have said this, were it not also a concern expressed by a math.se user in the comment before the last
