Great to receive your nomination @GratefulDisciple, thanks for putting yourself forward!
@GratefulDisciple - If I may ask one question for my curiosity :) what do you think about this question - is it on-topic or off-topic?

@SteveTaylor also @curiousdannii You're welcome. I'm mostly interested just to see how it goes, will surely need to learn from both of you if I'm elected.
@SteveTaylor Since it's a hermeneutical question on a Biblical book I would say it's on-topic, but maybe too broad (need more focus). I will definitely consult both of you on whether it needs reworking to prevent bad answers. It's a hard one to decide. I would look into precedence for similar questions, or guidance from meta answers.

@GratefulDisciple - it is a toughie, something of an edge case. Normally our first close reason would cover anything about a biblical topic but not based on a 'specific biblical passage'. So it's effectively treating the entire book of Revelation as its specific passage. It could be too broad, it could be opinion-based...

@SteveTaylor Agree about its being an edge case. If more questions come up like this, we may want a meta question about it. For now I would look at the answers that come in and go from there, and probably try to increase quality by posting a comment within the answer here and there if other members don't already do that. In best scenario quality ones will receive more votes.
