However, however, uh. Since we were going to play over text anyway, we can... kinda naturally make the transition to completely asynchronous playing, y'know, "forum RPG style."

It's not exactly what I'd've wanted, nor am I very experienced at that, but well. It has its upsides too, right? No need to schedule, just mash in messages. Let's try to get as much fun out of it as possible

If you want to bail out at this point, I'm fine with that (I'm... actually fine with anyone bailing out at any point, I know what it's like when there's limited time and energy, and the last thing I want is my pleasant pastimes becoming a burden on the would-be enjoyees)

But if you're cool with playing a forum-style game, eg. over Discord, we can start putting it up

We need to discuss conventions of course, because I'm very new to this, but we can figure things out

It's not what I wanted, but tbh this offers opportunities too, so I'm cautiously optimistic

@kviiri @NautArch Cool, let's give this a whirl. post on Discord or in a private chat here is fine by me. What is your preference?

@kviiri @NautArch Ok, I'll need to work on getting it to work better on my phone; my last ineration of that was a mess. Can't get to discord at work. If we end up with some times where we all three have a bit of time at the same time, we can 'fast forward' as it were, and then asnynchronus the other times.

I think that will also help the "theater of the mind style" that I think is a great fit for 13th age.
