That's an interesting issue. I always knew that the kernel share resources in certain ways to different users, but for it to be that quirky hmm
Maybe you'd want to take into consideration the PIDs and process running, since it might change slightly so depending on how many users you set up at once in your environment. Just a thought.
(by changing slightly, I do mean the result/speed of i/o)
