@motosubatsu I wonder if you can answer the questions that I asked in my recent comments in this chat room? I have taken your advice already and did not respond to the user (although @Levente's suggestion is a better one in my opinion).

@NikeDattani mind you, as I said, don't expect it to be bulletproof. I can see how it may become tricky to resist answering again, at that point. Good luck with having it in your toolbelt though :)

@Levente Thanks. I'm more concerned about the behavior by the moderators on this site though. For example motosubatsu is asking me to "flag anything you deem flag worthy" but that's actually what I did and my flag got declined, then the user that I flagged continued to harass me and said "Are you attacking that or just smashing hand, foot, and fat fold on the keyboard in hope of making a coherent point?" for which I my flag did get accepted, but by then it was too late:
harassment occurred which could have been prevented if my first flag was not declined by F1Krazy. Before my 2nd flag got accepted and after the above comment in bold was received, I contacted motosubatsu to have a "second-look" at F1Krazy declining the flag, and by the time I got a response, the user continued to harass me more: "nobody could genuinely be this dense".
While it might be true that if I disengaged, I might not have received that harassment: users should not have to stop participating in order to avoid getting harassed.

@NikeDattani "users should not have to stop participating in order to avoid getting harassed" well, that's an incredibly well placed point.
It's almost like it is this website's purpose, or something.
On the other hand: we are in no position to criticize how fast or how slow the mods react:
They are volunteers. No-one pays them for any of that, as far as I know.
So, there is really no ground for anyone, not even SE, to exert any demand on that, as I see.

@NikeDattani regarding the harrassment samples you brought: such comments, indeed, I agree, do not warrant any response at all. They are entirely obviously improper, everyone will see that. They will get removed.

11:44 PM
@Levente Thanks. For me this was not about speed. It was about the initial flag being declined, which allowed the user to continue. If the conversation was removed (like it was for the top answer, where the comments never got nearly as bad!), those harassment samples could have been avoided. I fully appreciate that the mods are volunteers and this was not about speed: it was about the initial declined flag and the fact that the comments are still up: They could easily move it to chat.
