@motosubatsu Have you taken a look at the comment left by @F1Krazy on the most upvoted answer, and what comments were deleted at that time? Why shouldn't the same be said about other answers? Also, How were those deleted comments any worse? Does the moderation team possibly have a strong opinion on the subject, and will sometimes delete conversations that go against that opinion while keeping conversations up if they support it?
I don't think it's fair for you to ask me to "disengage" when someone's leaving negative comments about my answer, which make the answer look bad: if people are going to do that, I should be able to write my responses to those criticisms, but without being called "dense" or a "troll". I'd be happy to talk to the user in a separate chat room, but a back-and-forth debate is not supposed to happen in the comments of an answer.
Again F1Krazy's comment says comments are for suggesting improvements (which weren't what were done in the comment chain kept up on my answer) and not for debating the subject matter (which is what the user seems to be trying to do on my answer), and it also says that if a user disagrees with the validity of an answer, the comment section is not the best place to express it.

@NikeDattani I would give the exact same advice to anyone who found themselves in the situation you did, to disengage and flag anything you deem flag worthy. And to reiterate: the comments attacking you directly weren't acceptable and have been removed for that reason.
