Do you know I feel shy to post? I always think about what others will think? People will think "This gal does not know such a little thing!'' lol. Facepalm. But still, I build courage and posted, because I really didn't know that, and I needed help from people who know stuff! And for that someone mocked me? Nah... adobe community is far softer with people like me, they encourage. and more hard with people who mock others for asking question.

@RussianBlue just step away for a bit, take a break for a few days/weeks.. don't delete the account. I've gotten letters.. been banned, suspended, etc.. It's not that big of a deal. I know when emotions are high it can seem important, but in the grand scheme of things it's really not. Two anonymous users disagreeing on some web site is hardly anything to get overly worked up about.

@Vincent FileZilla works great for me (I've used it on Mac and Windows extensively). I never had an issue with adware 🤷‍♂️

@Welz I've seen a user I recommnded the thing get all kinds of adware on her laptop. I love the client, just want to avoid the useless and annoying crufts 😅

I'm pretty sure you just have a checkbox when you install to disable whatever it is...

I don't really use it much anymore... I've gotten comfortable enough with the command line and find it to be quicker.

I use Termius for my terminal and SSH connections. It has a built in SFTP area, it's kinda dopey and transfer times are a bit slow but it does the job for the occasional switch to a GUI.

Added benefit of not needing to switch to another program and save the hosts there as well...
