@Emilie Can't we just have a bot take care of that? Preferably before the question is even posted. So when a low rep user starts typing: "What is the name of this sty..." the bot immediately answers: "Flat design!".

@Emilie Sometimes you have to make sacrifices...

Humor aside, I'm really growing annoyed by all those "what this style"-questions. For many reasons. Firstly they are pretty useless to other users since the text seldom contains any description of the style. Often only a screenshot. So every new user who is looking for the same style needs to post the same question once again.
Secondly, I think one should be careful to label contemporary styles which are in use today. They are still evolving and will probably be viewed differently in retrospective.
I know that for example Google with their Material Design tries to make us believe that they invented the wheel, but I'm hoping this site can help inexperienced users to see through all the hype and start looking at design in a more analytical way. Looking at design as choosing a style and following the rules of that style is depressing.

@Wolff many stacks have this issue (Qs to identify the terminology for something)
And it's worse when you're identifying a picture since they're not likely to be searched
There are less possible identifications of styles VS. Fonts but sometimes it's tougher to find the name of the style
I often doubt there is a name for what people ask to identify and I'm often pleasantly surprised though
